Nara - Located almost at he center of the Japanese archipelago.  Nara occupies an important position in the history of Japan; it is said that the first state was located in Nara.  Nara is also a home of various World Heritage sites such as Todaiji Temple, Horyuji Temple, and others including numerous Buddhist art and architecture classified as National Treasures and Important Cultural Asset.

 

Fukuoka - The city is located in the center of the crescent-shaped Fukuoka plain, facing the Genkai Sea on the north surrounded by mountain systems of Sefuri, Sangun, and Inunaki.  From ancient times Fukuoka has been serving as a gateway to import Asian culture.

 

Saitama City - is the prefectural capital located in the southeastern of Saitama Prefecture.  Historically, the city developed as a post-station town along Nakasendo Road.  Today, it is a strategic traffic point of eastern Japan and crossroads for JR lines, private railway lines, and five Shinkansen lines.

 

Tokyo - is Japan's capital and the country's largest city.  Tokyo has the largest metropolitan gross domestic product in the world for a city, and it held the title of the world's most expensive city for over a decade from 1992 through 2005.  Tokyo is known for its many museums.  Located in Ueno Park are the Tokyo National Museum, the country's largest museum and specializing in traditional Japanese art; the National Museum of Western Art; and the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, which contains collections of Japanese modern art as well as over 10,000 Japanese and foreign films.
